Installation

The lamp arrives ready to assemble and can be set up right away. The light source is already included in the delivery. You will find all the information you need in the installation guide.

The light can be switched on and off using the light switch.

Dimming

The lamp is TRIAC dimmable (i.e. via a TRIAC wall dimmer). The lamp can be dimmed using both leading-edge and trailing-edge phase control. Use either a dimmer marked with the symbols R or L (for leading edge) on the packaging or with the symbol C (for trailing edge). We recommend choosing a universal dimmer suitable for both leading-edge (R, L) and trailing-edge (C) dimming to ensure maximum flexibility and compatibility. Such a dimmer is usually marked with R, L and C.

ORMIO – Design, dimensions and light quality

The ORMIO is a dimmable LED pendant light in a walnut look for targeted, warm white lighting design in living areas.

With its minimalist appearance, it combines aluminium and iron with a clear design language. The 2700 K light colour creates a warm atmosphere, while the CRI 80 colour rendering index supports natural-looking colours.

The brightness is continuously dimmable via TRIAC as standard and ranges from 80 to 772 lm. This makes the light suitable for different lighting moods, such as above the dining table, in the living area or as a striking lighting object in the room.

The lampshade measures 45 cm in diameter; the height can be adjusted up to 200 cm. This allows the pendant light to be adapted to the respective room height and the desired distance.

FAQ

1 What are the technical specifications of the cable used in the Ormio?

The installed cable is 2-core and has a conductor cross-section of 0.5 mm². It is cable type F829/VDE, has a maximum voltage of 300/500 V and is temperature resistant up to 180 degrees.

2 Is the Ormio SmartHome compatible?

Our lights are not smart home compatible by default. However, you can connect them to a smart home system. There are two options: 1. Replace the built-in transformer with a compatible smart home transformer: Ensure that the new transformer meets the technical requirements of the existing one. Our lights are controlled via constant current. Therefore, the smart home system must be designed for constant current lights. Constant voltage systems are not compatible with our lights. 2. Replace the wall switch with a smart home-compatible TRIAC wall switch: Ensure that the wall switch meets the specifications of the TRIAC transformer.

3 Does the Ormio require a direct power connection?

Yes, each Ormio lamp requires a direct power connection. Each lamp has its own individual canopy.
