Assembly

The luminaire arrives ready for installation and can be set up straight away. The LEDs are permanently integrated into the light so that no additional light sources are required. After unpacking, the light can be installed and put into operation immediately - simply connect and enjoy. Please note: Batteries for the remote control are not included in the scope of delivery. Recommended batteries: 2× button cells (e.g. CR2032, 3 V, 230 mA). You can find the installation instructions under "Instructions" - they are available for download there.

Switching on and off

You can conveniently switch the light on and off using the remote control provided. Simply tap the "I" button to switch it on and the "O" button to switch it off.

Dimming

You can easily control the light using the touch remote control. This gives you maximum flexibility for customized lighting. Thanks to its stepless dimming function, you can adjust the light intensity and light color as desired. You can adjust the brightness via the upper "DIMM" bar - either by swiping to the right (brighter) or left (darker), or by tapping the "+" or "-" symbols. On the lower "TEMP" bar, you can set the color temperature - either by swiping to the right (warmer) or left (cooler), or by tapping the "+" or "-" symbols. Of course, the last setting is always saved when you switch the light off and on again. Convince yourself of the simple and convenient control and experience the perfect lighting experience. You can either stick or screw on the magnetic holder to attach the remote control flexibly to the wall.

Segmente der LED Strips flackern oder gehen gar nicht mehr

Generell finde ich ist es eine tolle Leuchte. Wir benutzen sie hauptsächlich gedimmt mit warmen Licht.
Leider sind jetzt nach Ablauf der 3-jährigen Garantiezeit einzelne Segmente der LED Strips ausgefallen oder flackern.
Neona kann mir zwar Ersatz-LED Strips angeboten, aber der Austausch hört sich kompliziert an und sollte am besten von einem Elektriker gemacht werden.

Sehr hochwertige Lampe

Wunderschöne Lampe - bei der Installation hatte ich glücklicherweise einen Elektriker zur Hand (alleine hätte ich es nie geschafft!). Tatsächlich hängen sich die Kabel nicht aus, das ist optisch ein kleines Manko. Und die Sache mit der Fernbedienung - da kann ich meinen Vorgängern hier nur Recht geben! Es ist ein bisschen Glückssache, ob es funktioniert oder nicht…
Aber ich bin trotz allem froh und Preis-Leistung ist mehr als fair!

Die Anleitung könnte ein klein wenig detaillierter sein aber wir lieben diese Lampe. Uns war die Qualität wichtig, alles super hochwertig

Sehr schön, aber sehr schwierig zu installieren

Positiv: hängt die Lampe, ist sie eine wahre Augenweide
Negativ: die Anbringung ist sehr zeitaufwändig, trotz Schablone muss man sich vorher viele Gedanken machen, wie man welchen Ring ausrichten möchte. Zwei Seile hatten einen Knick, der sich nicht aushängt; auch die Fernbedienung ist keine FERN- sondern eine Nahbedienung. Nur in unmittelbarer Nähe mit ausgestrecktem Arm zur Lampe funktioniert sie. Sieht aber sehr wertig aus, wie die Lampe insgesamt.

Super tolles Licht

Die Lampe ist sehr schön, macht wirklich ein ganz tolles Licht. Dank der Schablone hat auch das anbringen gut funktioniert. Ich muss mich nur noch etwas an die vielen Drahtseile gewöhnen.

1 Is there a drilling template?

2 How do I connect the remote control to the light?

Switch off the light by unplugging the power supply unit. Press and hold the On button on the remote control while plugging the power supply unit back into the socket. The remote control is now connected

3 How can the length of the ropes be adjusted?

On the ceiling suspension and on the wire holders, each suspension wire is guided through a small split pin. Push the split pin in with one finger while you pull the suspension wire with the other hand or guide the wire back into the housing to change the hanging height of the lamp. Thanks to this mechanism, you can change the hanging height even after the lamp has been mounted.

4 The ropes are wavy. What do I have to do?

Sometimes the ropes just need a little more time and weight to unhook. Try changing the weight shift a little if necessary. Otherwise you can pull the ropes straight with warmed hands. This will solve the problem.

5 Are the light sources included in the delivery?

Yes, the light comes with built-in LEDs and is ready for immediate use. You don't need to buy any extra bulbs but can install and use the lamp straight away. The LEDs have a very long service life of 50,000+ hours and are covered by our 3-year guarantee.

6 Can I also operate the light with the light switch?

Yes, the light can be switched on and off using both the light switch and the remote control.

7 Is the Caecilia smart home compatible?

Our lights are not smart home-compatible as standard. However, you can connect them to a smart home system. To do this, you need to replace the installed transformer with a suitable Smart Home transformer. Make sure that the new transformer meets the technical requirements of the previous transformer. Our lights are controlled via constant current. The Smart Home system must therefore be designed for constant current luminaires. Constant voltage systems are not compatible with our lights. If you want to continue to adjust the color temperature (warm to cool white), the Smart Home transformer must be CCT-capable.

8 Is the Caecilia TRIAC dimmable?

Our lights are not TRIAC dimmable as standard. However, you can make them TRIAC dimmable. To do this, you need to replace the installed transformer with a suitable TRIAC transformer. Make sure that the new transformer meets the technical requirements of the previous transformer. Our lights are controlled via constant current. The TRIAC transformer must therefore be designed for constant current luminaires. Constant voltage systems are not compatible with our luminaires. The transformer must also meet the minimum requirements of the LEDs (wattage and voltage). Please note that you must then decide whether to use only cool white, warm white or neutral white (both LED colors mixed) during installation.

9 Is there a money-back guarantee?

Yes, you can return all our lamps within 14 days and will receive a full refund within a few days. For a stress-free return process, you can register your return in our returns portal and you will always be informed about the status of your return.

10 Does the Caecilia have a memory function?

Yes, our remote lights have a memory function that can be used to save a setting. To activate it, you must wait at least 20 seconds between switching off and on using the wall switch. When operated with the remote control, the previous setting is always saved.

11 Where can I find the Caecilia assembly instructions?

A card with a QR code is included in your delivery. This will take you to the assembly instructions.

12 Is it possible to individually adjust the length of the ropes/cables on the Caecilia?

Yes, the ropes and cables of the Caecilia can all be individually adjusted in length.
