Assembly
The luminaire arrives ready for installation and can be set up straight away. The LEDs are permanently integrated into the light so that no additional light sources are required. After unpacking, the light can be installed and put into operation immediately - simply connect and enjoy. You can find the installation instructions under "Instructions" - they are available for download there.
2
Switching on and off
The light can be switched on and off using the light switch.
3
Dimming
The lamp is TRIAC dimmable (i.e. via a TRIAC wall dimmer). The lamp can be dimmed using both leading-edge and trailing-edge phase control. Use either a dimmer marked with the symbols R or L (for leading edge) on the packaging or with the symbol C (for trailing edge). We recommend choosing a universal dimmer suitable for both leading-edge (R, L) and trailing-edge (C) dimming to ensure maximum flexibility and compatibility. Such a dimmer is usually marked with R, L and C.

Design highlight for day and night
The ILUMA ceiling light is a real eye-catcher that impresses by day and by night. The trendy retro design combines fashionable chrome with a walnut-like metal color and gives every room a stylish touch. In matt black, too, the light becomes a highlight in your home. The light shines upward and downward, creating a fascinating play of light: the crescent-shaped shade is subtly illuminated, while a focused beam of light downward sets beautiful accents. FAQ
1 Is there a money-back guarantee?

You have a 30-day right of return with us.

Return policy: In the event of a complaint, we will of course cover the return costs for you and refund the full amount.

As we are a young, self-financed company and already bear the shipping costs to you, unfortunately we cannot also cover the costs of a regular return. If you send your lamp back within 30 days, you will receive the refund amount minus the return shipping costs.

For a stress-free return process, you can simply register your return via our returns portal. There you can keep track of the current status of your return at any time.

2 Is the Iluma smart home compatible?

Our lights are not smart home compatible as standard. However, you can connect them to a smart home system. There are two different ways to do this:

  1. Replacing the installed transformer with a suitable smart home transformer:
Make sure the new transformer meets the technical requirements of the existing one. Our lights are controlled via constant current. The smart home system must therefore be designed for constant-current lights. Constant-voltage systems are not compatible with our lights.
  2. Replacing the wall switch with a smart-home-capable TRIAC wall switch:
Make sure the wall switch supports the characteristics of the TRIAC transformer and is compatible with it.
3 Can luminaires with IP20 be used in the bathroom?

Lights with protection rating IP20 may only be used in the bathroom outside the protected zones. This means they are not suitable for direct use in the shower or above the bathtub. In dry areas, for example in the middle of the room or on the ceiling, they can however be used. For added safety, we recommend lights with at least protection rating IP44 in the bathroom.
