After unpacking, the light can be installed and put into operation immediately - simply connect and enjoy. You can find the installation instructions under "Instructions" - they are available for download there.

Switching on and off

Wall connection variant: The luminaire can be switched on and off via the light switch. Socket outlet variant: The luminaire can be switched on and off via the light switch on the cable.

Dimming

Wall connection variant: The lamp is TRIAC dimmable (i.e. via a wall switch). It can be dimmed using both leading-edge and trailing-edge phase control. Use either a dimmer marked R or L (for leading-edge) on the packaging, or one marked C (for trailing-edge). We recommend choosing a universal dimmer suitable for both leading-edge (R, L) and trailing-edge (C) dimming to ensure maximum flexibility and compatibility. Such a dimmer is usually marked R, L and C. Socket variant: This variant is not dimmable.

FAQ

1 Are the light sources included in the delivery?

Yes! The lamp comes with built-in LEDs and is ready to use right away. You don't need to buy any additional bulbs – you can simply mount the lamp and start using it. The LEDs have a very long lifespan of over 50,000 hours and are covered by our 3-year warranty.

2 Is there a money-back guarantee?

You have a 30-day right of return with us.

Return policy: In the event of a complaint, we of course cover the return costs for you and refund the full amount.

As we are a young, self-funded company and already bear the shipping costs to you, we unfortunately cannot also cover the costs of a regular return. If you send your lamps back within 30 days, you will therefore receive the refund amount minus the return shipping costs.

For a stress-free return process, you can simply register your return through our returns portal. There you can keep track of the current status of your return at any time.

3 Are small bubbles or irregularities in the glass a quality defect?

Each of our glass shades is manufactured in a high-temperature molding process and mouth-blown. This gives the shade its beautiful shape and creates a truly unique piece that makes every Amio something special! Small bubbles or fine air pockets may occur - they are a typical feature of genuine handcraft and emphasize the uniqueness of each lamp. They are not a quality defect and do not affect the beauty or function of the product

4 Is the Amio wall connection triac dimmable?

Yes, the Amio is triac dimmable if you connect it directly to the circuit and operate it with a triac switch.

5 Is the Amio wall connection SmartHome capable?

Our lights are not smart home-compatible as standard. However, you can connect them to a smart home system. There are two different options here: 1. replace the installed transformer with a suitable Smart Home transformer: Make sure that the new transformer meets the technical requirements of the previous transformer. Our lights are controlled via constant current. The SmartHome system must therefore be designed for constant current luminaires. Constant voltage systems are not compatible with our luminaires. 2. replace the wall switch with a Smart Home-compatible TRIAC wall switch: Make sure that the wall switch meets the characteristics of our TRIAC transformer.

6 Can the Amio socket outlet be dimmed?

If you operate the Amio via the socket, you cannot dim the light via the integrated switch on the cable. In this case, however, you could dim the light via a smart socket.

7 Where can I find the installation instructions for the Amio?

A card with a QR code is included in your delivery. This will take you to the assembly instructions.
